DUSKWARD Return to the neighborhood

Behavior inventory · local creative package

Privacy,
block by block.

Duskward is intentionally small in what it remembers. The Android app keeps a few choices on the device so the fictional neighborhood can return as you left it. It has no account, advertising, billing, analytics or app network permission.

This page describes the implemented local package. A publisher must supply a public contact, publication owner and effective date before publishing it as a live policy.

Separate illustrated app neighborhood and static web street General-audience fictional public square Fictional scene without an organization seal
Chapter 01

Where the street begins

Surfaces covered

This inventory covers the Duskward Android app and the two static website routes in this package: the introduction and this policy. It does not describe a future publisher site, store account, device operating system, or third-party destination.

Audience

Duskward is a general-audience illustrated reflection. It is not clinical care, crisis support, legal advice, benefits navigation or a service eligibility tool.

Editorial boundary

The neighborhood, characters, prompts and transition themes are fictional app-authored material. A current IRS-derived record confirms a legal identity and broad classification for Lou Homes Foundation; it does not establish that these scenes are official programs or endorsed guidance.

Chapter 02

What stays on the block

Information handled

The app handles only functional local preferences: the current district, dusk or dawn dial state, selected warm-window keys and reduced-motion choice. Those values describe interface state, not a person’s identity.

Local constellation

You may keep at most one selected portal in each of five districts. Choosing a later portal in the same district replaces the earlier key. The constellation is not uploaded, scored, profiled or turned into an account history.

Sensitive input

There is no free-text field, journal, assessment, name field or place to enter health, benefits, employment, family or other sensitive details. Scene choices should not be treated as a disclosure to the organization.

Device permissions

The Android manifest requests no camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, notification or internet permission. Normal operating-system capabilities needed to draw the interface and save app preferences remain governed by Android.

Connections

The Android app does not request internet access and contains no app feature that sends its local state elsewhere. The website is static, but loading a published website necessarily makes requests to whichever hosting provider the publisher chooses; those server logs are outside this local package.

Accounts

There is no registration, login, profile, email capture, social sign-in or device-to-device identity. The app does not know who is using the neighborhood.

Chapter 03

Roads that do not leave

Measurement

No analytics SDK, audience meter, advertising identifier, remote diagnostic service or third-party crash reporter is included. Android or the app store may independently provide system-level diagnostics under their own settings and terms.

Commercial features

The app contains no ads, sponsorship targeting, billing SDK, purchase, subscription, donation flow or paid unlock. Website images and copy are descriptive, not a checkout surface.

Sharing

Duskward does not include an app-initiated share button, cloud export or organization submission. A person can still use operating-system tools such as screenshots; that action and its destination are controlled by the person and the device.

Retention

Preferences remain in the app’s private local storage until the user clears the constellation, resets app data, or uninstalls the app. A district or dial preference may remain after clearing the selected windows so the interface can reopen in its last viewing position.

Erase and reset

The in-app clear action removes every selected warm-window key and returns the sky to a neutral constellation. Android’s clear-storage control or uninstall removes the app’s local preferences more broadly. This package has no remote account or server copy to delete.

Chapter 04

Edges, people and change

Shared devices

Anyone with access to an unlocked shared device may be able to open the app and see its current district, dial and warm windows. Use Android user profiles, screen locks and backup controls when separation matters. Whether the operating system backs up app data depends on its settings and the final release configuration.

Younger users

The app is not designed to collect anyone’s identity and has no child-directed account or social feature. Its reflective themes are written for a general audience; an adult can help a younger user distinguish a fictional prompt from professional or official guidance.

Web and security

The packaged website uses static HTML, CSS and raster images, with no form or embedded account experience. A future host may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, time and browser headers. The publisher must document that host before publication. No local software can promise absolute security against a compromised device or host.

Changes and questions

This local package was prepared on August 26, 2026. That date is not a publisher-set policy effective date. If behavior changes, this inventory should be revised before a new release. The publisher must add a verified public privacy contact and publication owner; none is invented here.
